My will is weakening…

After writing in yesterday’s post that I would return all of my books to the library, I turned around, looked at the dining room table, and felt my will power crumble. How can I return these books? I haven’t even looked at them! How many fascinating things will they tell me? I can’t just let them go without peeking at them. Perhaps I should let them hang around a bit longer, just in case I am struck by an absolutely dire need to read them….

Besides, who needs a dining room table?

It’s always so depressing to take those books back the library unopened. When you first bring them home, you are so happy about them, excited to have new reads–can’t wait to crack them open. I totally understand…

I, the Queen Mother, must tell you that you are depriving many of my other subjects from reading these books while you languish over not reading them and just looking at the piles. Free yourself and take them back to the little people of the kingdom and let them too read. Besides you can always check them out again. Spoken like a true diplomat ehhhh???
